Debra Valentina has been a corporate healthcare leader, entrepreneur, business and life consultant, and speaker for over 25 years. Debra’s life consultant practice called HeartIgnited is grounded by the depth of her real-world experience and highly developed intuition. Debra has successfully coached people from all walks of life to lead fully expressed and joyful lives that make a difference.

Debra is currently speaking nationally on how to live a satisfied and meaningful life based on her book HeartIgnited: Living a Fully Expressed Life, published in Spring 2009. Her unique gifts include encouragement, clarity, and light-heartedness.

During Debra’s extensive entrepreneurial and healthcare career, Debra was the founder and owner of a healthcare management consulting practice for nineteen years. Debra was also co-owner of Your Empowerment System®, a holistic and powerful wellness program, and a founder of Women in Healthcare®, a professional networking, educational, and mentoring organization.

Debra’s executive healthcare experience includes many years managing clinics and hospitals, both on the West and East Coasts, for the Kaiser Permanente Medical Care Program, as well as leadership positions with the managed care organizations Travelers Health Network and First Health.

Debra earned a Bachelor of Business Administration magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a Master of Public Health in Health Administration from UC Berkeley. Debra also graduated from Stanford University’s International Business Executive Program and is an alumna of the Leadership Pittsburgh Program.

Debra is a published author and speaker on healthcare, entrepreneurial and self-development topics. She is licensed to deliver Avatar®, a nine-day self exploration course. Debra is also committed to her local and world community and has been a Hunger Project global activist and investor since 1980.
